2024 TRACK AND FIELD STANDARDS

JUNIOR CLASS/AGE GROUP STANDARDS:

Age Groups :
                     Junior: U11,U14
,U17,U20 
          Open/Master:  Open (14+), M35, M50, M60

TRACK 2024:    A Standards        B Standards
     
Note: In 2023 WPA Created the T71-T72 classes  as FrameRunner classes.   On 1/1/2024 ATFUSA have moved all FrameRunner athletes from the T31- T32 Classes to the T71-72 FrameRunner Classes.   T31- T32 Classes will now race only in Racing Wheelchairs.

                Note: "B" standards are 95% of "A" Standard

To participate in National Level Junior , Adult, or Master Meets "A" Standards have been developed to encourage great competition and to guide Athletes on a path to success.  ATFUSA sets the "A" standards for the Junior, Community Open and Master Age groups. 

US Para Track and Field  OR the WPA set Race entry Standards for US Para Track and Field or WPA sanctioned Open Competition.

IN 2017 ATFUSA ESTABLISHED "B" STANDARDS FOR JUNIOR/MASTER TRACK
& FIELD. 
IF AN ATHLETE HAS ACHIEVED AT LEAST ONE "A" STANDARD IN A FIELD OR TRACK EVENT THEN, THE ATHLETE MAY COMPETE AT NATIONAL'S IN OTHER TRACK OR FIELD EVENTS IN WHICH A "B" STANDARD WAS ACHEIVED. 
EX: "A" IN A TRACK EVENT YOU CAN DO OTHER TRACK EVENTS WHICH YOU ACHEVIED A "B" STANDARD IN;  NOT A FIELD EVENT AND VICE VERSA.

THE "B" STANDARD IS 5% SLOWER (TRACK) / SHORTER (FIELD) THAN THE
"A" STANDARD.
