2026 ATFUSA AERO JAVELIN GRANT:.
- ATFUSA has changed the Javelin used by U11 athletes from the 300g Turbo Jav to the 250g Aero Javelin.
  - This change took place January 1, 2026 for all outdoor competitions.
- In order to help Move United Clubs make the transistion
  - ATFUSA is offering an up to $70.00 grant to help purchase 1 new 250g Aero Javelin.
  - All MU clubs W/Track & Field Programs (other than the
    Tri-State Clubs) are Eligible.

    - Mail/E-Mail to ATFUSA W/ Proof of Purchace.

Aero 250g javelin specs; (all dimensions in mm)

•        Overall length: 1350-1480mm

•        Length of head: The maximum
      diameter of the head shall not exceed
      the nominal shaft diameter by more
      than 10mm 140-160mm

•        Distance Tip to Center of Gravity:
       (The grip is not required to cover the
         CG) 570-600mm

•        Diameter of shaft: 24-26mm

•        The maximum grip diameter: Shall not
       exceed nominal shaft dia. by more
       than 8mm 80-110mm

•        Location of front of grip from tip:
       570-610mm

•        Length of tail: 105-120mm.
- Note: The JAv does not have to balance on the
  Grip.
